CA Foundation Level - 6 Months Durations

Who can apply for the CA Foundation level?

Students who have appeared for the Grade XII examination are eligible to register under ICAN. Candidates whose results are still pending may also apply for registration.

Passed Grade 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination

Students who have Passed Grade XII exam and have 40% or Grade C

For students awaiting their results, it is important to ensure a minimum score of 2 GPA (40% marks or Grade C). If the final results fall below this requirement, ICAN will cancel the registration. Therefore, students with pending results are advised either to wait for their results before enrolling in the next session or to proceed with registration only if they are confident of meeting the minimum criteria.

Students from all academic streams—including Science (Physical Group/Bio Group), Management, Law, Humanities, and A Levels—are eligible to apply for the Foundation level. The qualification must be equivalent to Grade XII, regardless of the subject combination.

There is no entrance examination required for the Foundation level. Students can directly enroll with ICAN and begin their preparation for the exams.

Registration Deadline

Registration deadlines depend on the exam session selected. ICAN Foundation exams are held twice a year—in June and December. The registration deadline for the June exam is November 30, while for the December exam, it is May 31.

For example, students planning to appear in December must register by May 31, and those aiming for June must complete registration by November 30.
